Queensland Health (Organisation site )Bayside Health Service - Cleveland, Redland Bay and Wynnum WestMetro South Hospital and Health Service are looking for a Director, Physiotherapy and Podiatry to join their team to provide high level leadership, significant strategic direction, advocacy and professional management of a large team of physiotherapists across Bayside Health Service including adult and paediatric inpatient and outpatients and residents in the Redlands Residential Care Facility.Metro South Health is Australia's first digital health service and one of the largest in Queensland, with an estimated residential population of approximately one million people or 23 per cent of Queensland's population.This is your opportunity to join the dedicated team of professionals at Metro South Health and be part of a world-class, dynamic and growing health service that embraces technology, excellence in health care, teaching, research and empowering our people to be the best in serving our community.About the Role• Provide strategic level management, applying well-developed clinical knowledge to challenge existing protocols and advocating authoritatively for a large team of Physiotherapists operating across multiple sites and multiple clinical specialties within the Bayside Health Services.• Accountable for all aspects of operational management of the Physiotherapy and Podiatry Departments, including performance appraisal and other general people management issues across multiple facilities/specialties and divisions across the service.• Accountable for the clinical governance of physiotherapy clinical services through the application of high-level clinical knowledge, expertise and problem solving skills to ensure alignment with health service imperatives and professional standards.
