Family Planning Australia (FPA) is a leading provider of reproductive and sexual health services.
Founded in 1926, FPA are the oldest family planning service in Australia and see over 28,000 clients annually at their clinics whilst they provide education services and conduct courses with over 100 professionals yearly.

With five clinics in NSW and service provision throughout the state, FPA work to ensure everybody has access to quality reproductive and sexual health.
Respecting the rights of their clients to make choices about reproductive and sexual health, they treat each and every person with respect, dignity and understanding.

Their vision for all people to have high quality reproductive and sexual health and a purpose of providing specialised services has led them to promoting the rights of marginalised people not just in Australia but also in developing countries.

The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the CEO and sitting on the Executive team, the Director, People and Culture and Support Services will play a critical role in shaping and advancing FPA's organisational vision, including HR, Technology, Marketing and Communication, whilst acting as a trusted advisor to the CEO and broader organisation.
This key strategic leadership role includes delivering key insights to inform strategic decisions and cultivating a dynamic organisational culture underpinned by innovation and collaboration.
The Director will also focus on improving the commercial acumen of FPA as part of the broader strategic objectives.

The key areas of responsibility for the Director, People and Culture and Support Services include:

Providing strategic advice to the CEO and Executive on development of people and corporate functions and recommending operational improvements.Leading and mentoring the team including continuous development, talent management and oversight of the human resource function.Develop and implement plans to address overall business needs including uplifting commercial performance and outcomes.Driving digital transformation and working alongside the team to implement and develop marketing and communications functions.About You
For this appointment, FPA are seeking a well-rounded executive with a strong background leading teams and driving efficiencies within a consumer-driven and constrained market.
You will have an understanding of the current industrial landscape across community services and a desire to make a positive impact.

With a strong commercial acumen and proven experience in delivering transformative change across multidisciplinary teams, the successful candidate will have:
Extensive experience in leading corporate services and working collaboratively to improve organisational efficiency.Demonstrated capability in leading an engaged and high performing team within a multidisciplinary context.Proven track record within at least two of: people and culture, project design and delivery, data and digital, communication and marketing; and commercial management.Significant project management experience and an ability to work and manage external service providers.Exceptional leadership capabilities with a track record of developing executive and senior management talent.Demonstrate the values of FPA including pro-choice and a commitment to reproductive justice.What's on Offer
