About the Opportunity In this role, you will be responsible for assisting the General Manager and other Executives to provide strategic leadership in high level partnerships, health system planning and performance, including oversight of the clinical governance portfolio, in order to meet the key performance indicators for Drug Health Services as outlined in the SLHD Performance Agreement.
You will have primary responsibility for strategic planning, performance monitoring and reporting, clinical governance including patient safety and consumer liaison, developing and maintaining partnerships with government and non-government organisations including the Sydney Local Health District Drug Health Services Non-Government Organisations portfolio, high level project management, and also manages high level contentious and complex issues including preparation of ministerial briefs and correspondence.
Minimum RequirementsHolds relevant tertiary qualifications and/or significant equivalent experience at an executive level, including strategic partnerships.Experience in public health service management would be beneficial.Has experience in senior project management with demonstrated ability to successfully manage a portfolio with high level competing priorities.Holds a current NSW Drivers Licence (P1 and P2 acceptable).ONLY PERMANENT EMPLOYEES OR TEMPORARY EMPLOYEES WITH 12 MONTHS CONTINUOUS SERVICE WITH NSW HEALTH ARE ELIGIBLE TO APPLY.
