Peace Lutheran Primary School, Gatton is a vibrant and growing primary school situated in the Lockyer Valley. Peace has a strong focus on providing high quality, contemporary learning for all students in a caring, safe, and compassionate environment.
This is a wonderful opportunity for a passionate, energetic leader to work and / or live in regional south-east Queensland. This 1FTE contract position commences in January 2025 and ends at the end of the 2025 school year. 
 
The Director of Wellbeing (DoW) acts as an advisor to the Principal and is a key point of contact for staff and parents. The DoW assists in the day-to-day running of the school with a primary focus on the provision of wellbeing programs, positive behaviour support, restorative practices and innovations that build and sustain schoolwide expectations that nurture and provide a safe, supportive, and caring community for all. The role is chiefly relational, administrative and community-oriented, and requires close collaboration with other leadership staff, in particular the Deputy Principal. The role is one of leadership and management and requires the DoW to play a crucial role in the school's 'big picture thinking', while working with finer details.
