(pro rata) Part-time working 13.5 hours per week and temporary up to 31/3/26 About the Role As the Director of Training – Consultant Psychiatrist, you will play a critical role in overseeing the specialist psychiatry training program for Trainee Medical Officers (TMOs) within CALHN.
You will ensure the smooth operation of the training program, guiding TMOs through each stage of their journey towards becoming Fellows of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP).
This includes managing six-monthly rotations, providing ongoing support to trainees and supervisors, and ensuring that training and education opportunities are optimised for successful completion.
In collaboration with both internal teams and external stakeholders, including the RANZCP, you will uphold accreditation standards, monitor trainee progress, and support trainee wellbeing.
Your leadership will be essential in maintaining the quality and integrity of the program, contributing to the development of the next generation of psychiatrists.
