Job Summary: The Tasmanian Catholic Education Office is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to fill the role of Director of Pastoral Care. This is a significant position within the organization, responsible for overseeing the pastoral and specialist programs that contribute to the overall College experience.
Key Responsibilities: Lead the development and implementation of pastoral care programs that promote student wellbeing and academic success.Collaborate with the School Leadership team and Pastoral Care team to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.Develop and maintain relationships with students, parents, and staff to promote a culture of respect and inclusivity.Provide guidance and support to students who require additional assistance with their academic or personal development.Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote student safety and wellbeing.Requirements: Registration as a Teacher with the Teachers Registration Board.Relevant qualifications and experience in education and pastoral care.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.Commitment to the values and mission of the Tasmanian Catholic Education Office.
