Their goal is to deliver exceptional experiences for patients, providers, and partners worldwide through highly available, secure, and innovative platforms. As a member of the senior leadership team, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping both technology and business strategy, ensuring that our cutting-edge solutions meet the highest standards.In this role, you will lead a team of 50+ engineers across three regions and be a managing manager. Your leadership will be instrumental in guiding the growth and development of engineering leaders within the organisation. Regular collaboration and occasional travel will be required. If you're passionate about system design, architecture, data-driven decision-making, and building open-source products, this could be the role you've been looking for.Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:Lead and develop high-performing software engineering teams across the globe, with a focus on designing and delivering complex Java applications.Manage a team of managers, serving as a coach and mentor to foster leadership growth and team success.Architect and promote common API patterns to enhance developer experience and service interoperability.Drive the adoption and utilisation of provider/patient services across the product suite.Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Management, Customer Support, Professional Services, and Platform teams to ensure roadmap alignment and seamless product integration.Actively participate in strategic discussions to advocate for advanced technology and domain practices.Oversee budget, timelines, and team execution to deliver on strategic goals.Travel to regional offices as needed to ensure cohesive leadership and cross-regional collaboration.What We're Looking For:Proven track record of leading software development teams and managing managers across multiple geographies.Significant experience managing and operating SaaS applications, with expertise in architectures such as microservices and serverless.Deep technical knowledge of systems design, API development, and cloud technologies (AWS/GCP, Kubernetes, and container platforms).Experience balancing engineering excellence and business needs, ensuring efficient and secure systems operation.A mentor and leader of leaders, with a history of coaching teams to drive high performance and promoting career development.Familiarity with privacy-first environments and best practices within regulated industries.Willingness to travel internationally to support and guide regional teams.
