Purpose As the Director of Sales , you will be responsible for driving the sales performance for hotels across Queensland and Northern Territory and maximising opportunities for Accor Apartments and Realty; being the primary point of contact for each Hotel relating to sales activity across all market segments.
Primary Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for hotels, driving dynamic sales performance and exceeding targets across all market segments. Strategically build and implement tailored property sales plans, covering key sectors such as corporate, airlines, trade partners, international, MICE, government, sports, and entertainment, ensuring each hotel meets its goals. Maximise opportunities by leveraging strong relationships with internal teams—Pacific, Central Sales, Hotel Sales, and Account Managers—to drive leads and foster growth across the region. Cultivate and manage strategic partnerships that deliver impactful commercial returns for Accor, aligning with global policies. Collaborate with hotel and regional teams to coordinate high-impact sales calls, presentations, inspections, trade shows, and familiarisation events that convert opportunities into tangible business results. Stay ahead of the curve by identifying new commercial opportunities and gathering vital market intelligence. Build a strong network within the industry to uncover key projects and stay informed of competitor activity. Maintain expert knowledge of property offerings, including conference and F&B facilities, along with Accor's wide range of services like Accor Live Limitless, Accor Plus, ALL Meeting Planner, AHBO, BizBeds, Live@, Departure Lounge, and more. Stay sharp with sales tools such as ANAIS, Cvent, Calumo, and Ivvy to drive results. Skills and Experience Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in a senior hotel sales role, with a proven track record of success. Demonstrated ability to lead teams and inspire them to achieve exceptional results. In-depth knowledge of key hotel market segments and the ability to stay ahead of industry trends. Strong understanding of hotel branding and positioning within competitive markets.
