Reporting to the GM of Sales & Marketing, this role is a true blend of sales, leadership and strategy and is a critical component of ensuring Crown Sydney achieves significant sales and profitability targets. We are looking for an ambitious and motivated sales gun who thrives in fast-paced environments, wants to be a part of the delivery and is ready to level up their career within an iconic brand.You'll be responsible for driving and maximising room sales for Crown Sydney across all market segments, maintaining key accounts and developing new business relationships, whilst leading and inspiring your team to consistently achieve targets. Ideally, you'll come from a hotel/travel background and have existing networks to assist the broader sales team with developing new accounts and support to uplift and deepen existing relationships.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Lead, inspire and work closely with your on-site sales team and assist with monthly revenue and expenditure targetsDrive new business development, whilst ensuring existing account retention and growth strategiesWork with the tourism bodies in market representatives to ensure Crown is top of mind for all domestic and international campaignsWork with senior and executive stakeholders to determine and recommend strategies to maximise salesDevelop and implement strategic, comprehensive key account management plansProvide market/industry insights from all key markets to influence revenue strategies and directionPartner with key stakeholders to ensure tailored and personalised customer service experiences for all clients is consistently deliveredBuild and maintain effective relationships via contact with key account stakeholders and client contactsBuild and maintain relationships with other internal departments including Banquet Operations, Finance, Conferencing, Group Reservations, Reservations, Housekeeping and Front OfficeAbout youExtensive experience in a Senior Sales Management / DoS role covering key leisure, wholesale and MICE marketDemonstrated passion and ability in driving, achieving and exceeding sales targetsStrong knowledge of market trends and initiatives coupled with excellent business development expertiseProven knowledge of Inbound Tours Operators and Distribution ChannelsExcellent communication, influencing and negotiation skillsAbility to work with key, senior stakeholders including operational and executivesKnowledge of property management systems such as Opera is advantageousSelf-motivated with a high level of integrity, passion for customer experience and works well under pressureWhat we offer you:Full-time opportunity, based in on-site in the luxurious Crown SydneyComplimentary meals at our on-site staff restaurant (daily menu with hot meals, salad + sandwich bar + more)Generous discounts across all Crown hotels and restaurants (think Nobu, Epicurean, Cirq, Woodcut + more)Opportunity to lead a key sales team and work closely with senior stakeholders at Crown SydneyAccess to discounts with various corporate partners across insurance, health & wellbeing, fashion, banking & finance, technology and moreAdditional InformationWhat you can expect from usOn top of exciting career possibilities, we offer better exposure to experiences and learning.
