As the Director of Sales and Marketing, you will lead the development and execution of strategies to drive revenue growth and enhance the guest experience. This hands-on role is pivotal in setting and achieving sales targets, overseeing a high-performing team, and ensuring the successful implementation of the hotel's marketing initiatives. Working in a hybrid capacity, with 2-3 days per week on-site, this position is ideal for an experienced and results-driven professional with a proven track record in luxury hotel sales and marketing. You will be part of a small, dedicated team, where your leadership will play a key role in the hotel's continued success.
Your Day-to-Day Oversee sales operations, ensuring the right staffing levels and efficient work distribution.Coach and mentor your team, providing performance feedback and setting growth goals to drive results.Equip your team with the skills and tools they need to achieve hotel revenue goals and deliver exceptional results.Create a team-oriented atmosphere by connecting departments and recognizing individual contributions.Driving Revenue & Performance Hit Sales & Profitability Targets: Lead growth by implementing strategic sales initiatives that boost hotel occupancy, average daily rates (ADR), and MICE sales. Proven success in driving transient business and maximizing revenue potential.Forecasting & Reporting: Analyze market trends, produce sales forecasts, and monitor performance to ensure targets are met or exceeded.Creative Marketing Campaigns: Plan and execute events, sales blitzes, and promotional strategies to attract new business and showcase the hotel to potential clients.Financial Planning: Help create departmental budgets and financial plans, ensuring profitability across all revenue streams.Digital Market Focus: Solid background in marketing strategies, with a strong emphasis on digital marketing. Proven experience in leveraging online platforms, social media, and digital advertising to drive engagement.Enhancing the Guest Experience: Your leadership will ensure seamless integration of sales, marketing, and service excellence to consistently exceed guest expectations and drive satisfaction.Upselling & Guest Relations: Promote hotel services and offerings, ensuring guests are aware of all available amenities and enhancing their overall experience.Group & Event Coordination: Manage event and business group activities, ensuring seamless execution across departments.Responsible Business Leadership Community Engagement: Build relationships with local business leaders, officials, and community groups to boost the hotel's visibility.Sustainability Initiatives: Promote the hotel's sustainable practices to potential clients and incorporate eco-friendly strategies into marketing efforts.Brand Representation: Act as a key spokesperson for the hotel at media events and maintain a strong local presence.What Do We Need from You?
