About the role

Our vision is to have a safe, efficient and productive heavy vehicle industry serving the needs of Australia. We are now seeking a Director of Prosecutions to join our team.

Reporting directly to the Executive Director Statutory Compliance, you will contribute your expertise to drive ethically based prosecution services nationally. With a dispersed team your remit will expand to culture, internal and external education, and the delivery of our prosecution's strategy.

This will be a positive, yet impressive program of work requiring exceptional strategic capability to balance diverse stakeholder groups and a broad remit of cases. To be successful in this role it's important that you:

Have experience working with a geographically dispersed team.

demonstrate people leadership and high-level engagement capability.

have high-level knowledge of and experience in criminal law, practice and procedure.

be admitted or are eligible for admission as a barrister or solicitor of the High Court or a Supreme Court of a State or Territory of Australia.

are resilient, agile, and customer centric.

are motivated to delivery positive industry outcomes through effective relationships with industry, the police and other regulatory agencies.

Ongoing travel will be a requirement of the role, and you will be supported by your peers, leaders and corporate teams.
