Movember is the leading charity changing the face of men's health globally, tackling mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer, and testicular cancer.
In our mission to stop men dying too young, we're seeking a passionate Director of Product to join our Melbourne based team.
About the role Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, you will oversee the development and delivery of Movember's digital products, including fundraising platforms and digital health products. You will lead product management and digital design teams, ensuring effectiveness and fostering team development. The role involves setting product vision and strategy, collaborating with income and impact portfolios, and driving digital outcomes.
You will have the opportunity to work flexibly, blending your time between home and our Richmond office.
You'll have the opportunity to Develop and communicate our overall product vision and strategy in alignment with Movember's strategic focus areas and goals.Provide leadership, guidance and coaching to the product management and design teams. This will include fostering collaboration and empowering team members to excel in their roles.Develop strong cross-functional working relationships with income and impact teams to ensure alignment and coordination across Movember on digital product initiatives.Oversee the product operating model from ideation through to concept launch and post-launch iteration.Ensure that products deliver remarkable experiences by supporting our design team to successfully integrate activities into the lifecycle and adopt leading design thinking and behavioural science approaches.Establish key performance indicators and metrics to understand the success of products and initiatives through embedding a culture of measurement into the delivery lifecycle.Remain informed about market trends, activities and industry developments to identify opportunities and threats.Build and maintain excellent relationships with key stakeholders. This will involve effectively communicating product plans, progress and outcomes.Identify potential risks and challenges that may impact product development or performance and implement strategies to mitigate them.Promote a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging experimentation, learning from failures and fostering innovation.For this role, you'll need Extensive experience in a similar roleThe ability to inspire, motivate and lead product teams towards a common vision. Can create team safety and a culture of customer-centric thinking. Ability to manage up, down and across Movember's hierarchies.The capacity to develop and communicate clear product strategy aligned with business goals, market needs and budget.To understand Product best practice and the supporting methodologies.A focus on understanding our audience needs, behaviours and preferences to create products that deliver remarkable experiences.The ability to collaborate in a cross functional structure with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds including psychology, clinical health, behavioural science, marketing and sales.The ability to define good outcomes, manage to deliver on time and budget.A genuine passion for men's health.Bonus points for An understanding of technical concepts and familiarity of the software development process.Experience implementing digital and product marketing campaigns.Proficiency in project management methodologies for effective planning, executing and monitoring digital initiatives.Why Movember?
