Kudosity is seeking a Director of Operations to take ownership of our People & Culture, Finance and Compliance functions and elevate our business operations foundation as we continue to grow in the messaging space. How you'll make an impact Reporting into our MD and forming a part of our executive leadership team, as well as leading a small team, the Director of Operations will be responsible for the strategic planning and operational excellence of a range of business functions including People & Culture, Finance and Compliance. This role will play a crucial part in driving strategic goals across Kudosity, and driving best in class business processes.
You'll be working closely with a transparent, high performing and collaborative leadership team with diverse experience. As a newly created role in the business, this is an opportunity to make a lasting impact on a broad team with critical responsibilities in Kudosity's journey to sustainable, profitable growth.
What you'll do People & Culture Lead the P&C function in fostering excellence and long-term success for our business through empowering our people, encompassing business partnering and advisory capabilities.Champion P&C strategies for Kudosity across talent acquisition and performance culture, driving success, professional development and effective teaming solutions.Identify and contribute to the continuous improvement and optimisation of the P&C capability.Finance Optimisation of the finance function, adopting best practices in finance processes and reporting across the business.Planning & Analysis; Partner with the Executive leadership team in the annual budget & forecasting process.Reporting: capability to ensure transparency and performance for the business.Analysis: evaluating investment opportunities, conducting cost-benefit analyses, and assessing the financial viability of new projects or initiatives.Financial Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting principles. Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy. Coordinate with external auditors during audits and reviews.Risk Management: Assessing and managing financial risks faced by the business. This includes monitoring market trends, evaluating credit risks, and implementing risk mitigation strategies.Financial Operations: oversight of financial operations, as undertaken by the Finance Manager to ensure accurate and timely processing of financial data and adherence to internal controls.Compliance Lead the Compliance capabilities encompassing privacy, security, access, operational and governance processes, supporting the team in driving Kudosity towards best in class Security standards.Risk Management: Assessing and managing Operational risks faced by the business. This includes monitoring asset compliance, onboarding, offboarding, evaluating vendor risks, and implementing risk mitigation strategies.Stakeholder Engagement: Establishing stakeholder management relationships with the Director group and MD to ensure financial strategies and goals projects meet business needs, presenting clear and influential financial insights while maintaining ethical conduct and fostering a customer-focused approach.What you'll bring People leadership experience in cultivating a high performing team culture.Demonstrated ability to foster collaborative relationships internally and externally.Solid negotiation, influencing and communication skills.A keen focus on continuous improvement and optimisation.Resilient and able to work in a high paced, high pressure environment.Experience in a senior management role in earlier stage, growth businesses.Ability to break down complexity and tell the respective story through a commercial lens.Experience in the technology sector and SaaS businesses.Relevant tertiary qualifications in business management / HR / Finance / Operational Management.Excellent modelling and analytical skills.Demonstrated expertise in business partnering alongside delivering meaningful analysis to support decision making.Strategic collaboration and experience working with senior stakeholders and proven ability to align strategies with business goal.Thorough understanding of regulation and compliance landscapes.About us Kudosity is a leader in conversational messaging, empowering businesses through innovative SMS, AI, and automation technologies.
