Metro South Health is looking for a Nursing Director to join their team in a full-time capacity. Working with the Community and Oral Health Service, the successful applicant will provide contemporary strategic, operational, and professional leadership and management.

About the Role The Director of Nursing provides high-level contemporary strategic, operational, and professional nursing leadership and management for the Community and Oral Health Service. The role provides the coordination of and is accountable for service delivery, human and material management, expertise in the healthcare team, communication, and highly developed data analysis and fiscal management to deliver safe, quality, effective, and efficient healthcare provision. The position also shapes corporate and clinical governance in partnership with the Community and Oral Health executive team. The DON works collaboratively and supports the Executive Director of Nursing and Midwifery strategic direction, vision, and health service priorities and may have delegated responsibilities to support the role. The Director of Nursing is the chair of the Community Nursing Community of Practice.
