You can explore in a four-wheel drive, visit some of the best fishing spots in Australia, dine on the great local produce or enjoy a vibrant and relaxed nightlife.About the role:The Director Nursing and Midwifery (Gladstone and Banana) role is the professional lead for Nursing and Midwifery Services and is responsible for supporting Nursing Leadership at all levels to provide high quality, safe, evidence-based care through education, research, and professional development.The position reports operationally to the General Manager (GM), Gladstone and Banana, and professionally to the Executive Director of Nursing and Midwifery Services (EDONM), Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service.
The Director of Nursing and Midwifery (DONM) also shapes corporate and clinical governance in partnership with the Gladstone and Banana Senior Leadership Team.About you:Registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) and Midwife (RM) with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and a current annual practising certificate are mandatory for this position.
Relevant postgraduate qualifications in nursing/midwifery would be highly regarded.What we offer:Total remuneration value of up to $198,959 p.a.
