We have an exciting temporary full time opportunity for 3 months for an experienced nurse leader for the Director of Nursing Westhaven Aged Care Facility in Roma. The Westhaven Director of Nursing has accountability for leadership and management of the Westhaven Aged Care Facility, ensuring the provision of a consumer focused service that meets the legislative standards of care and needs of the facility. The position ensures facility compliance to the Aged Care Standards supported by a Nurse Unit Manager and Clinical Nurse Educator roles. The position reports to the Roma Facility Director of Nursing and will work collaboratively with the Roma Group Leaders to monitor and implement Strategic Objectives and operational plans to provide effective residential aged care services to the Roma community and wider South West Hospital and Health Service. All of our rooms are single rooms with ensuite or shared bathrooms, and feature wardrobes, air conditioning, and garden views. We provide low and high level care, including palliative care, 24-hour nursing care, allied health, and regular recreational activities.
