Director of Marketing and Admissions Sydney, Australia About the role: Provide Western Sydney University International College (WSUIC) with direction and leadership of Marketing and Recruitment Functions, accountable for:
Managing and leading the marketing and admissions teams Developing and implementing marketing, recruitment and admissions functions within the College Collaborating with Navitas and Western Sydney University source country sales and marketing teams Developing business relationships and implementing recruitment, brand and market strategies to achieve agreed short and long term targets Developing and managing the marketing budget The person we seek will ideally have the following: Tertiary level qualifications, preferably at postgraduate level, in a marketing or related discipline, together with extensive marketing and sales managerial experience Extensive knowledge of sales and marketing in the international student market Proven ability to initiate, lead and implement marketing strategies which have significantly contributed to growth Working knowledge of technology underpinning marketing strategies Highly developed interpersonal, communication, presentation and negotiation skills A creative approach to strategic planning and business development A capacity to work effectively within a matrix structure, with focus on collaborating with and influencing various stakeholders The ability to provide leadership and build an effective team The ability to create and communicate compelling and resonating value propositions A strong work ethic, integrity and team skills The ability to take research and data and translate findings into strategy and action The capacity to understand the difference between recruitment (sales) and marketing and move effortlessly between the two The ability to drive a competitive "speed to market" strategy Meet the fit and proper person requirements as outlined in Section 9 of the Education Services for Overseas Student Act 2000 Experience in working in an international education environment What we can offer you: First class modern facilities.
