In this role, you will: Lead and manage a team to provide advice, information, and support on a broad range of complex policy, financial management, and economic performance issues.Coordinate client requirements and team priorities effectively.Provide strategic advice on risk identification and assessment and evaluate best practice strategies.Maintain positive relationships with clients and stakeholders on complex issues.Represent Queensland Treasury on State/Federal committees and interdepartmental working groups.Prepare and guide the delivery of complex reports, submissions, briefing notes, commentary, publications, and correspondence.What experience you will bring: Proven ability to lead teams under pressure while maintaining cohesion and delivering results.Ability to prepare strategic, practical, and solutions-oriented advice.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, tailored to the audience.Proven ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships and encourage collaboration.Demonstrated effective judgement, communication, and understanding in developing solutions and working with others.While there are no mandatory qualifications required for this role, relevant qualifications will be highly regarded.
