You will be responsible for developing opportunities for Indigenous students in the Faculty and for teaching in the Faculty's Indigenous access courses.This position is being offered as a Level B, C, D, or E -The level of appointment will be commensurate with your qualifications, skills, and experience.This position is open to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants only. UNSW has obtained an exemption under section 126 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977 (NSW) to designate and recruit professional and academic positions for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander persons only, to fulfil UNSW's goal of a representative workforce rate.Accountabilities:Specific accountabilities for the role include:Program promotion and student recruitment – Including assisting with the selection of Indigenous applicants for awards, scholarships, prizes, and entry to outreach programs, Humanities Pathway Program and degree programs.Teaching and student support – Including developing and updating the curricula of Indigenous student programs and courses, as well as, coordinating, teaching, and assessing other teaching into Indigenous programs .Strategy and leadership – Including managing the Faculty's ILE budget and sitting on relevant Faculty and University committees .People are at the core of everything we do.
