This role is full-time and permanent, with direct reporting to the Vice President of Guest Experience – Hotel Operations. Your primary objective will be to ensure the profitability and exceedance of guest expectations in P&O Cruises Australia's onboard F&B services. Establish structured communication channels for seamless inter-team interaction.Regularly benchmark the cruise and hotel industry to stay abreast of product, service, and technical innovations.Provide insights on trends in food and beverage, hotel, and revenue areas, and evaluate their relevance to our product mix and onboard demographics.Evaluate the current performance of all F&B product initiatives and suggest new ideas to enhance guest satisfaction (NPS).About You: In the role of F&B Director at P&O Australia, you will serve as a strategic leader, adept at delivering outcomes in a dynamic environment. To be successful in the role, you will have demonstrated: 10 years Leadership and People management experience.10 years of Operational management experience in the Food & Beverage industry.5 years of experience in land-based Hotel operations across multiple venuesMandatory experience with Stadiums or large catering companies.Cruise industry experience is preferred, equivalent roles in tourism, hospitality, multichain hotel groups, or large catering companies are equally desirable.In depth expertise in food and beverage operations, including supply chain logistics, cruise ship galley operations, and various dining venues.Profound knowledge of beverage products, markets, pricing, trends, receiving, and inventory control proceduresProven track record in introducing innovative products that positively impact financial results.Skilled in building and leading successful teams through coaching and motivation.Proficient in financial management, including budgets, accruals, and forecasting.Commercial acumen for evaluating and negotiating agreements and contracts.Proficient in project and time management with excellent verbal and written communication skills.Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends, and willingness to travel extensively (up to 70% of the time) with multiple days away from home.Possession of a valid passport.Along with your resume, please provide a cover letter clearly outlining your experience in relation to the above requirements.
