Responsible for the Finance, IT and Purchasing departments, this is a hands-on leadership role, actively involved in business decision making, while ensuring compliance and business plan execution.Some of the responsibilities include:Ensures all accounting practices comply with all Company and Government regulationsComplies, updates and maintains all budgets and forecastsAdministers and controls all cash management for the HotelAdministration of all insurance matters in conjunction with local brokersLiaise with internal and external auditorsWork closely with Departments to ensure payroll management and efficienciesMaintain a Capital expenditure registerProactively initiates communication with the Owning CompanyGrow, develop and support our internal talent in all departmentsQualificationsA Successful Candidate will have:Relevant CA/CPA or degree equivalent5 years of experience in a similar role in a large HotelProven effective communication skills while having a sharp eye for detail and accuracyProven success leading and developing teamsFull Australian working rightsA career with Hyatt opens a world of opportunities.
