Director of Engineering
to join our dynamic professional team. This role is suitable for an astute & experienced operational professional, who understands the intrinsic nature of an established building & the requirements of a 5 star property.What is the role all about:
Leading and developing a team of maintenance professionalsLeading a team to plan and carry out preventative maintenance and general repairs throughout the hotel to ensure standards are maintained for guest comfortDesigning and implementing solutions to improve energy management and conservationContractor negotiationsESG ManagementEnsuring the hotel upholds OH&S and fire safety responsibilitiesAudit reporting and monthly maintenance reportingEnsure the quality of records for repair work and daily checks as required by local Council & Government specificationsLiaising closely with other departments to ensure minimal impact of repairs and maintenance on operationsResearching, recommending and liaising with the Portfolio General Manager regarding procedures to improve the overall efficiency of the departmentCarrying out project work as required and/or as neededPrepare and submit & manage capex proposalsQualifications
