About the role: Our team is growing fast and embracing new challenges, so we're looking to hire a new Director of Digital, Strategy, and Consulting to take us to the next level. This is a pivotal role in the growth of our company. As a member of the executive team, you will be given the opportunity to build upon our very strong foundations and elevate the agency to new heights. Reporting directly to the CEO, your key responsibilities will include: Leadership - inspiring, challenging and supporting your team members to deliver excellence in all facets of their role. As a natural leader and persuasive communicator, you will coach senior team members to build strong relationships, develop growth pathways, and champion the culture and values of the team. Commercial management - as the Director of Digital, Strategy, and Consulting, you will have exceptional commercial acumen, guiding your team to achieve profitable growth through service quality, operational efficiency, customer retention, and customer satisfaction. You will work closely with both the Managing Consultant and Digital Operations Manager to oversee workflow, collaboration, budgets, and resourcing. Product and service innovation - with your natural curiosity and ambitious growth mindset, you will be looked up to as a fountain of knowledge. As the flagbearer for product, innovation, and process development, you will act as chief scientist, explorer of the unknown, and change maker. You will use your supreme knowledge of the latest advancements in digital marketing to propel the agency through a continuous evolution in product, service, and technology. Key client consulting - as the Director of Digital, Strategy, and Consulting, you will support your team with insightful campaign strategy, detailed research, analysis, and planning. You will provide an account management escalation point, be the ultimate authority for technical campaign troubleshooting, embrace difficult problem-solving, and set a high standard for quality. Relishing the opportunity to keep your skills sharp, you will be directly responsible for managing a portfolio of high value and highly complex clients. With your expert level proficiency in SEO, Google Ads, Meta Ads, Analytics, and other Digital Marketing Channels, you will have the technical and strategic ability to deliver exceptional campaign outcomes. Key account development – fostering positive and productive relationships with key client accounts, you will take a proactive approach to solving complex client issues, demonstrating value, retaining clients, and growing the customer base. As the Director of Digital, Strategy, and Consulting, you will leverage your enterprising and solution-oriented attitude to identify business development opportunities, present ideas, design campaigns, estimate costs, forecast outcomes, prepare proposals, and pitch agency services to high value clients. Team collaboration – with your multi-disciplined skillset and deep knowledge of all things digital, you will form the bridge between the expertise of the Consulting (Marketing) and Knowledge (Design, UX, & Development) teams. Your domain expertise will enable you to interpret the strategic, creative, and technical requirements of the Consulting team in a way that can be translated to web design and development requirements for the Knowledge team. What we're looking for: We're seeking someone with 10+ years of experience in digital marketing, ideally combined with tertiary qualifications in marketing, media, or other associated disciplines. Additional digital marketing coursework or master's level degrees will be looked upon favourably. You will have demonstrated expert-level capabilities in the effective use of digital marketing channels, tools, and techniques, and can demonstrate your abilities through your proven and impressive track record. Specifically, you will have expert-level experience in SEO, Google Ads, Meta Ads, Organic Social, Remarketing, Email Marketing, Analytics, and Reporting. You will also have a strategic working knowledge of Brand, UX, Web Design, Web Development, Copywriting, and Graphic Design, which when combined with your advanced Data, Analysis, and Reporting capabilities, gives you an exceptional understanding of the digital marketing ecosystem. The Director of Digital, Strategy, and Consulting will have demonstrated executive leadership and team development capability, with an ability to respond to business and role-specific challenges in a way that showcases sound judgement, decision-making ability, and a deep understanding of business strategy and management.
