Management - Schools (Education & Training) Sapphire Coast Anglican College is a PK-12, independent, Anglican College and is a Christ-centred, student-focused and community-minded school that develops extraordinary learners with a passion to serve others.
Established in 1994, the College is located on the Far South Coast of NSW in the heart of the Bega Valley with an enrolment of approximately 430 K-12 students and an additional 35 students attending Pre-Kindergarten.
An outline of the role's responsibilities is presented below, but as this is a newly-created position within the College executive, it may be subject to minor changes by negotiation with the successful candidate, and/or as need arises.
Department: Year 7-12 Job Grade: SCAC executive-level remuneration plus an approximately 0.4 teaching load.

Capabilities: A willingness to develop a knowledge of contemporary NESA curriculum offerings and the complexities of the Australian Curriculum Highly developed organisational capacity to ensure the successful operation of external and internal examination sessions, with administration staff support Ability to envision, evaluate and implement new curriculum opportunities Enthusiasm and capacity to engage with the challenges of Secondary School timetabling and support the Primary School timetabling process Commitment to contribute to the College's strategic direction as a member of the College's executive Key Responsibilities: Take responsibility for the curriculum component of the 2025-2029 Strategic Plan Oversee the Secondary timetabling process Ensure compliance with all NESA requirements, particularly in Year 9-12 Ensure all teaching is based on the appropriate curriculum (in collaboration with the Director of Teaching and Learning) Ensure all teaching programs are written and implemented in line with the school pedagogy and methodologies (in collaboration with the Director of Teaching and Learning) Liaise with distance education provider(s) and assist students with enrolment Organise and ensure smooth operation of all College internal examinations Organise and ensure smooth operation of all external examinations; NAPLAN, AAS, PISA, PAT, HSC, distance education courses Oversee visits by NESA examiners Manage Minimum Standards Testing for Year 10 Oversee the timely and accurate entry of all academic data by staff Oversee the College's reporting process and introduce initiatives that enhance the effectiveness of student reports Communicate testing results with parents/carers Supervise the creation of curriculum documentation for dissemination to parents and students Organise parent-teacher and other curriculum-focused information evenings Oversee the development of the elective program in Year 8, 9 and 10 Co-chair the Heads of Faculty meetings with the Director of Teaching and Learning As required by the Head of Primary School, lead and contribute to curriculum development at Primary School meetings Oversee management of pre-service teachers in collaboration with the Director of Teaching and Learning Have line management responsibilities for some Heads of Faculty (with others line-managed by Director of Teaching and Learning) Uphold the Christian teachings of the College, encouraging students to serve others and explore Christ Possess a work ethic reflecting a commitment to excellence in curriculum development and administration of internal and external examinations College Values Compassion Respect Integrity Service Please email your resume, cover letter (no more than 1 A4 page), WWC number, and university transcripts to Mrs Aimee Abraham at Your application will include the following questions: Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?
