We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate leader to join our team as the Director of Aged Care Services! At MDHS we are dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to our elderly residents. In this role, you will be responsible for the operational leadership of Maryborough District Health Services three Residential Communities facilities, and professional leadership and responsibility of the geriatric nursing and allied health teams. In collaboration with the Director of Nursing at Avoca and Dunolly, the role is responsible for ensuring the provision of quality care and managing the clinical and financial performance of Aged Care.

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA Qualifications :
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse Post Graduate Qualifications preferably Gerontology. Technical/Professional Knowledge and skills Demonstrated experience at a senior management level in health preferably in the aged care sector In depth knowledge of relevant legislation, standards, accreditation framework and policies Personal Attributes Leadership Disposition: Demonstrating the traits, inclinations, and dispositions that characterize successful leaders; exhibiting behaviour styles that meet the demands of a leader role Self-management : invites feedback on own behaviour and impact; uses new knowledge or information about self to build a broader understanding of own behaviour and the impact it has on others; Interpersonal Skills Collaboration : Working effectively and cooperatively with others; establishing and maintaining good working relationships Communication : Clearly conveying information and ideas through a variety of media to individuals or groups in a manner that engages the audience and helps them understand and retain the message. Building trust: Interacting with others in a way that givens them confidence in one's intention and those of the organisation.
