The Yorke and Northern Local Health Network (YNLHN) is seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Medical Service Development to drive innovation and growth within our medical services, with a strong focus on surgical services, workforce development, and multidisciplinary care models.In this key role, you will lead transformative projects that align with our strategic goals, expanding essential services across the region.
Your leadership will be pivotal in enhancing service delivery, developing new models of care, and driving system-wide improvements.
From critical decision-making to building strong stakeholder relationships, your strategic insight and operational expertise will ensure we deliver exceptional healthcare to our community.Responsibilities Include: Leading the design and implementation of service development projects across YNLHN, with a focus on surgical services and workforce expansion.Managing COAG 19.2 exemption programs and supporting the development of new care models.Overseeing complex, high-impact projects and driving strategic initiatives in partnership with key stakeholders.Championing continuous quality improvement and supporting health service accreditation processes.
Essential CriteriaYou'll be successful in this role if you have: Proven experience in complex health service planning and workforce development.Exceptional leadership, project management, and strategic thinking capabilities.A collaborative approach to managing relationships and engaging with diverse stakeholders.
