Media.Monks is looking for a strong Media Planning & Strategy Lead candidate. This candidate is able to dive into media and consumer research, analyze business data and objectives and carve out opportunities. From there, this individual will be able to translate those insights into detailed media plans and work with teams to bring them to life. A big part of this role is working with our growth teams to deliver value to prospects in order to convert them to clients.Ideal candidates in this role are fascinated in the story behind data data, have an interest in creativity and love merging the two to create new ways for consumers and brands to connect. To succeed in this role, you should enjoy challenging assumptions, be comfortable bringing to life things that have never been done before and be willing to help build a capability in APAC.Key Responsibilities:Deeply understand client challenges and lead teams to help bring solutions to lifeUnderstand APAC market nuances and dig into culture and client problems to uncover insights and build strong media briefsShape the development of media plans and measurement strategies to ensure media activity is meeting client goals and objectivesHelp define the APAC media strategy and planning capability in conjunction with media leadership. This also involves how to enable existing teams.Utilizes media research tools and resources to influence strategic media recommendations, including but not limited to demographic data, reach & frequency, audience composition, competitive insights, and marketplace trends.Works in partnership with Media Operations and Activation teams to ensure flawless execution of strategies, including appropriate financial stewardship.Daily management of the entire media output for assigned clients, including meetings and communications across buying teams, account management, measurement and senior clients.Discover and leverage insights and trends through primary, secondary and available data to develop strategic recommendations for brand building and campaigns across paid, owned, available channels.Ability to assemble and present materials for new business and media pitching activity; Participate in regional growth within Media including thought leadership and pitchingPartner with creative teams (either internally or at client partner agencies) to translate creative territories to media executionsCulture of skill-sharing, training, learning, mentoring, guiding and evolving strategy capabilitiesKey Qualifications:10+ years of media planning and strategy experience within a paid media agency.Ability to analyze complex data including audience and channel research, market and sales information, competitive reporting, and more.Strong experience in digital and traditional media from strategy to execution - including a strong understanding of local marketplace dynamics.Excellent presentation and storytelling ability.Excellent negotiation and communication skills.Ability to uncover the bigger picture in media objectives and translate this to tactical execution.Strong client management skills and overall attention to detail.Demonstrated track record of success managing large-scale media budgets with excellent financial stewardship.Strong working knowledge of critical tools, including but not limited to: Nielsen, MRI/Simmons, GWI, Pathmatics, Kantar, MediaOcean, Google Suite.#LI-CX1About Media.MonksMedia.Monks is the purely digital, unitary operating brand of S4Capital plc that connects 7,600+ digital natives across one global team.
