Location negotiable within Sydney region (pending TAFE NSW campus availability)

Total Remuneration Package $210,061 to $234,164 pa

About the role

This dynamic role requires you to lead the development and execution of the TAFE NSW Communications Strategy for internal and external stakeholders including media, employees, industry, students, and the broader community.

You will play a key role in providing strategic communications counsel to the TAFE NSW Executive Leadership Team to support the delivery of our strategic objectives.
You will also provide high-level communications advice and support to the Minister's Office on various communications issues and manage media relations and activities.

About You

An influential and collaborative leader, you are a strong communicator, experienced in providing strategic advice to executive and senior leaders on key priorities, messaging, and both proactive and reactive communication tactics.
Your relationships with key external stakeholders, including the Minister's Office and media outlets, along with your effective management of internal communications activities, will be essential to achieving success in this role.

Your extensive background in media relations will enable you to create impactful campaigns that boost TAFE NSW student enrolments and keep our employees and stakeholders informed.
Additionally, your people leadership experience will allow you to build and lead a high-performing team that supports critical projects and helps achieve our organisational goals.
Your skills in delivering prompt and strategic advice on sensitive issues will be crucial in supporting TAFE NSW's brand and reputation.
