About the Role:
Reporting to the Executive General Manager, this position is responsible for supporting Suicide Prevention Australia's strategic objectives through effective communication, sophisticated marketing strategies, and successful event and sponsorship initiatives.
As brand custodian, the Director, Marketing and Communications will oversee events, sponsorship, digital channel management and audience engagement across multiple segments.
The role will also drive member communications, including audience segmentation and journey mapping, and drive brand visibility and campaigns.

You are a talented senior marketing professional with a deep understanding of audience segmentation and the ability to tailor effective communication strategy that will resonate.
You are a multi-tasker whose strong project management experience will support the breadth and depth of responsibilities in this role.
Driven by the opportunity to influence sector and behavioural change in an important area of health, you possess extensive experience in stakeholder management, demonstrate exceptional communication skills, and consistently perform at an elevated level.

Key accountabilities: Lead the creation and execution of comprehensive marketing and communications strategy that align with the organisation's strategic goals.Conduct market research and analysis to understand target audiences and landscape.Manage the writing and development of all publications including the Annual Report, corporate profile, monthly e-newsletters and general marketing material.Monitor and analyse member feedback to refine communication efforts.Set audience reach targets, behaviour change outcomes and implement regular measurement processes.Oversee the development and management of the social media strategy.Drive brand strategy, guidelines and regular audits.Define and manage the organisation's content strategy, calendar, creation, distribution and performance analysis.Plan events, secure sponsorships, manage logistics, and analyse performance for future improvements, ensuring mutual benefit and alignment with organisational goals.
