Director, Lending Experience, Private Wealth
Leadership opportunity to join the Client Experience & Transformation team
Lead the way in supporting our high net worth lending experience by driving review and delivery of policy and process requirements

How will I help?
Reporting to the Head of Client Experience & Transformation, you will partner across Private Wealth and closely with product, operations and credit risk teams to develop and deliver initiatives across policy and process to continue to enhance our high net worth (HNW) client lending experience. In order to achieve this, you will be responsible for driving the simplification and change agenda supporting Private Wealth lending excellence.
If you enjoy developing, leading and executing new initiatives, influencing outcomes and driving continuous improvement, this is a role that will allow that passion to thrive.
You will contribute to business growth, supporting more opportunities to help high net worth clients by:
Gathering team, client and market insights to inform priority initiatives across policy and process
Developing and prioritising a simplification program focused on lending experience continuous improvement
Owning the review of the Private Wealth HNW policy and engagement with key business partners to progress enhancements to support our unique client segment
Leading delivery of improvement initiatives to enhance our client and team experience
What do I need?
Significant experience (10+ years) in credit risk/lending role(s) with policy development experience and broad experience across key stakeholder areas
Strong influencing, negotiating and stakeholder management ability – able to engage leaders across Private Wealth and Westpac Group
Strategic and commercial thinking, complex problem solving, planning and prioritisation excellence
Innovation mindset
Project management and execution leadership
Understanding of high net worth client segment, lending policy and process
Drive and enthusiasm, self-motivated and outcomes oriented
