The Position The Department of Child Protection are seeking to appoint a highly capable executive to build excellence in learning, practice and professional development.
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and leading a team with cultural, clinical and professional expertise, this newly created role will provide strategic leadership and drive operational excellence to build workforce capability, both internally and across the sector. The Director will develop a strategic Learning and Development Framework, build partnerships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders, and embed First Nations cultural capability across the organisation.
The preferred candidate will bring strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with demonstrated experience leading training in a large and complex environment, either at a HR, clinical or education level. Proven ability to lead change and deliver innovative and best practice learning, governance and reporting is essential, as is the ability to effectively leverage technology and external partnerships to support delivery.
With an attractive remuneration package and benefits, the position is offered on a negotiated contract appointment for up to 3 years. Primarily based at Keswick, Adelaide, the role will work across multiple sites. Relocation assistance is available if required.
