As Director IT, you will oversee the execution of our IT strategy and the design, implementation, and operation of new IT systems and services to support MACSEYE. You will manage IT resources and service providers, ensure data security, and leverage technology to support MACSEYE people in achieving the mission.

What will you do?
You will play a crucial role in driving our technology strategy and ensuring operational excellence through the following key responsibilities:
Execute the IT strategy to enable the achievement of MACSEYE's vision and objectives while collaborating with executive leadership on technology priorities.
Establish IT policies and standards to ensure compliance and security, while effectively managing budgets for optimal resource allocation.
Oversee the implementation and maintenance of IT systems, evaluate emerging technologies, and ensure the smooth operation and continuous improvement of applications.
Lead and mentor the IT department, fostering a culture of collaboration and overseeing staff recruitment and training.
Ensure data integrity and security, stay updated on regulations for compliance, and communicate IT strategy and updates effectively to stakeholders.
Who are we looking for?
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Administration, or related field; Master's preferred.
10 – 15 years experience in delivering IT services in not-for-profit, human services, aged care, or education sectors.
Experience in a CIO or similar IT leadership role.
Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, data management, and cybersecurity.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in budget management, strategic thinking, and project management methodologies.
