Salary: Level 9, $165,171 - $177,186 per annum (pro-rata) (PSCA 2022)
This is a 5 year fixed term, full-time position commencing ASAP About the Branch The Infrastructure Division, within Education Business Services, has responsibility for the provision of facilities (land, buildings and equipment) for the Department, which includes demographic forecasting and facilities planning, strategic asset management, delivery of capital projects, maintenance and minor works programs. The Division also provides security, emergency management and environmental services to schools.
About the Role The newly established Director Infrastructure Operations position is essential to lead infrastructure operations' support for schools and includes services such as strategic procurement and contract management, training, environmental health, water management, security, leasing, property management, as well as deliver key major projects and strategic government initiatives.
We are seeking an individual who can adapt to change and work under pressure to achieve desired outcomes in a highly demanding environment, often with urgent and competing priorities. The successful applicant will draw upon extensive experience to deal with sensitive and confidential information with tact and discretion. This includes managing the timeliness and accuracy of deliverables and gathering information on matters to ensure divisional priorities are efficiently and effectively met. You will be contributing to and coordinating projects and building strategic alliances with internal and external stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
