We're searching for an enthusiastic professional who is a strategic thinker and outcome driven, with the ability to inspire, lead and manage people.About this opportunity:The Director, Infrastructure and Operations is responsible for the effective, safe and on-time planning, budget, delivery and maintenance for all of Council's infrastructure assets. The position reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer and is a critical member of the Executive Leadership Team. The role is charged with leading service delivery, asset management, infrastructure planning and capital works in Council's core operational areas.Essential Qualifications, Experience & Skills:Tertiary qualifications in EngineeringCurrent 'C' class QLD Driver's LicenceExcellent oral and written communication skills and proven ability to communicate with external parties, including media and industry partnersExperience at a senior level in the public or private sectors.
