Director, Information Access

Transport Canberra and City Services have an exciting opportunity for a current ACTPS employee to join our Information Access team as Director, Information Access.

Procurement, Legal and Information Access oversee the commercial and legal operations of the directorate and provide essential services and support to each area within TCCS.
The Procurement, Legal and Information Access team is responsible for providing a wide range of legal advice and assistance to the Business Units on a variety of issues.
The successful applicant will under broad direction from the Executive Branch Manager, prepare, manage and motivate a team and provide appropriate support and guidance in responding to applications under the Freedom of Information Act, as well as providing guidance to TCCS in responding to subpoenas or similar document production requirements.
Effective employee engagement skills are a key enabler in the performance of this role as is a values-based leadership style.
This position requires a leader with a strong, considered, and engaging-people focus to successfully deliver and drive a culture of respect and a desire to achieve customer service excellence.

Note: This is a temporary position available mid-January 2025 for a period of up to 18 weeks.
This position is available to ACT Government officers and employees only.
