The Strategy and Policy Division is the strategic lead for the department, working across the department and with a range of external stakeholders to deliver whole-of-government strategies, across-agency coordination, industry development policy and advocacy.As Director Industry Strategy, your primary objective will be to lead a team to drive the delivery of industry development strategies and the design and implementation of key initiatives in priority economic sectors. This involves inspiring and supporting a team to identify industry growth aspirations, barriers and opportunities, and developing pathways to growth through strategy development and growth initiatives, as well as maintaining collaborative relationships with key stakeholders across Government and industry.To be successful you require experience as an outcomes focussed driven leader and in the planning, management and preparation of initiatives and strategies, proven knowledge of economic strategy or policy development, high order interpersonal skills including advanced communication and presentation skills, and a high level of enthusiasm and personal drive.In return you will be rewarded with a competitive salary, generous recreational and personal leave, and enjoy the Territory unique landscapes, amazing sunsets and inclusive community spirit.
