Located at the RAAF Base Tindal, just 15 km outside of Katherine, and caters to Defence personnel and their families. Katherine is the fourth largest settlement in the Northern Territory and is known as the place where "The outback meets the tropics". Situated on the Katherine River 320km southwest of Darwin. The team has created three separate learning environments for different age groups. Children feel like they belong here, and so will you. They have the capacity for 73 children and operate between 7am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday. On the weekends the adventure and experiences of the surrounding region will have you longing for the great outdoors. Travel, adventure, and an amazing career - you can have it all!
The Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Director who is passionate about leading early childhood education and nurturing the growth of young minds. Your responsibilities will encompass overseeing the service's operations, ensuring compliance with educational and safety regulations, and creating a secure, enriching learning environment for both children and staff.
As Director, you will also play a pivotal role in community engagement, building strong relationships with families and representing our centre with excellence.
