• Lead the delivery of contract development and management services aligned with the objectives of the department.
• Support efficient, effective and economical delivery of contract development and management services.
• Build upon a trusted governance environment demonstrating accountability and transparency and instill confidence with internal and external stakeholders.
• Undertake complex and sensitive negotiations and consult with government agencies (federal, state, local) industry, community and other stakeholders regarding
contract management.
• Design and deploy administratively efficient service delivery models which are continually assessed and led by existing/future business needs to achieve maximum
net benefit.
• Seek out modern systems and processes to optimize "value for money" derived from the investment made by the department in contract development and
management services.
• Be open to reform and innovate by continually assessing and maturing the department's contract development and management services to enhance
stakeholder confidence in the services delivered.
• Build upon a positive workplace culture that attracts and retains a high performing team and supports the strengths and further development of individual team members.
• Provide strategic intelligence, analysis and guidance to the Executive Director, and senior management on emerging contract management issues.
