Salary SCHADS Award Level 8(1) - $2,400.77/week plus allowances and superannuation.

WHO WE ARE The Wildlife Preservation Society of Queensland (Wildlife Queensland) is the longest-running wildlife conservation organisation in Queensland. For more than 60 years we've worked to protect and conserve at-risk species and habitats, advocating for better environmental policy, delivering vital on-ground conservation programs, and raising awareness of wildlife conservation issues through education and community engagement.

ABOUT THE POSITION As Director you will passionately and strategically lead our organisation while growing our influence and effectiveness to achieve outcomes. The Director provides visionary leadership to ensure the successful delivery of Wildlife Queensland's strategic objectives and influence policies and practices that protect and conserve nature.
Your key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

High-level interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively with senior leaders of government, the community and members in a membership-based organisation.Proven ability in successful fundraising and philanthropy and demonstrated ability to secure, develop and nurture long-term funding relationships with supporters and partners.Excellent advocacy and influencing skills as well as confident and competent public speaking ability.Experience in efficiently and effectively managing the operational and financial outcomes of an organisation or a department, including experience developing and managing budgets and analysing and managing various forms of risk.Demonstrated ability and experience in developing, articulating and successfully implementing compelling campaign strategies and policy advocacy.High-level representational skills, including experience dealing with media.BENEFITS We value our people and recognise their individual needs.
