Director - ICT (Toowoomba - Contract Role) Our client, a Toowoomba-based State Government department is seeking an experienced Information Technology Director to provide leadership, expert advice and strategic direction for the provision of Information Management and Information Communication Technology in a contractual capacity. It is anticipated that this CONTRACT will be for a 4-5 month period, commencing as soon as possible.The Director, ICT will be responsible for the following key duties:Managing the day-to-day operations of the ICT team, including supporting a positive culture that fosters continuous quality improvementLeading and managing the development and implementation of digital strategy to achieve digital transformation, innovation and service excellence goalsDeveloping and managing the implementation of ICT and Information Security strategyWorking with Executive Director Infrastructure to provide strategic policy and operational advice to the Executive Leadership team on issues relating to and impacting ICT deliveryApplicants for this role should possess the following skills and experience:A tertiary qualification in ICT (desirable, not essential)Expert knowledge and understanding of ICT as well as an ability to strategically apply this knowledgeHigh level verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to influence outcomes, negotiate respectfully, and build strategic and mutually beneficial relationships.Demonstrated ability to apply the principles of quality imporvement and good corporate governanceThe ability to (on occasion) work outside of rostered work hours and on weekends and some travel may be necessaryFor further information, please contact the HB Group, Toowoomba on Tel: 46394410 or forward your current Resume to ****** Apply Now - or - Apply with Indeed#J-18808-Ljbffr
