Director, Human Resources - Client Services Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a Director, Human Resources - Client Services to join Human Resources, Administrative Division.

The Director, HR Client Services is responsible for the strategic management of a range of HR services and activities in support of the University's priorities in relation to people and culture.
The Director ensures the effective operation of the Client Services team through strategic planning for the section, provision of leadership, and the efficient management of financial, physical and human resources.
Client Services currently includes HR Assist (Tier 1 level / Contact Centre support), HR Partners, Payroll Services, Superannuation and Insurance.

What you need to succeed Education, training and/or experience equivalent to postgraduate qualifications in a relevant field/s, combined with significant experience in a senior HR managerial position.
Knowledge and understanding of best practice in human resource management across a range of areas including HR service delivery, client partnerships, payroll and superannuation.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with proven experience in providing advice, negotiating and consulting on matters of a sensitive or confidential nature at a senior executive level.
Proven experience in designing, delivering and improving integrated HR services that achieve organisational objectives and meet client need and expectations.
Proven leadership and management skills of financial, physical and human resources to achieve outcomes which have an organisational wide impact.
An understanding of contemporary issues in higher education, particularly as they relate to the higher education workforce.
