$223,417 - $247,520 total remuneration payable Your roleDirector Housing Northern District is responsible to lead and manage the district's housing service delivery functions to ensure that housing clients including families, young people and the homeless, receive timely assessment and integrated housing assistance and services.
Northern District covers Central Coast, Hunter New England, and Northern NSW. This role can be flexibly based out of our offices in Gosford, Newcastle, Lismore, Ballina, and Tweed Heads.
What you'll doAs part of the Homes NSW, Housing Services Division you will lead service delivery and manage risk to deliver services tailored to making a difference for social housing clients, people experiencing homelessness and other vulnerable people and communities.
You will also:
Lead, direct and manage District's housing assessment and operations, covering temporary and crisis accommodation, tenancy management, public housing, and private rental assistance products.Manage relationships with other Governmental departments and NGOs to enhance service delivery and support community initiatives.Drive reform to enhance risk management and performance of services that are responsive to the needs of social housing clients, people experiencing homelessness, and other vulnerable people and communities.Deliver tenant engagement in co-ordination with Housing Portfolio.Achieve and optimise service delivery outcomes by managing financial budgets, forecasting local demand of services, and appropriately allocating resources.What we're looking forPassion and interest in improving outcomes for clients seeking support and assistance from Homes NSW.Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills to build relationships with other agencies and community groups to ensure services continue to make a difference.Creativity and responsiveness in service delivery while managing a constrained financial environment and changes in service demand.Commitment to deliver Homes NSW vision - delivering quality homes and services that change lives and end homelessness.What We Offer A challenging and rewarding careerFlexible, autonomous work environmentCompetitive pay and conditionsTraining and development opportunities to build and maintain capabilitiesHealth & Wellbeing and Employee Assistance Programs.Applications close Monday 16 September at 11:59pm (AEST).
