The role requires a strong, First Nations leader to help build capability and capacity across the VPS to provide safe, healthy and productive workplaces where all employees can thrive.
You'll be:
leading the Barring Djinang program delivery, improving and supporting First Nations employees' recruitment, participation and progression across the VPS workforce, while also ensuring all VPS agencies provide culturally safe working environments providing lived experience and professional expertise to
guide development of the First Peoples cultural capability development for the VPS workforce inform all VPSC work (including strategy, data and analysis) to incorporate and be guided by First Peoples considerations. Strong networks across the First Peoples community in Victoria A good understanding of the VPS and wider public sector A relevant tertiary qualification, public policy or public administration, or equivalent experience. Ideally, you can also demonstrate :
Experience in working across a range of VPS agencies and roles Central agency experience Cross-sectoral experience.
