Department of Queensland TreasuryPermanent full-timeSO - $161,770 to $169,261 p.a.Employer superannuation contributions, annual leave loading & salary packagingThis exciting leadership opportunity will see you lead the finance division in our Brisbane CBD office.As Director Finance, you will provide strategic leadership of finance functions in QRO, ensuring effective financial and resource management and governance to facilitate achievement of QRO strategic objectives. The role encompasses leading our teams responsible for financial management processes for QRO's operational budget and administered revenue transactions and for procurement and contract management activities.To succeed in this role you will need to demonstrate:Comprehensive understanding of financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting to manage financial performance and drive strategic decision-making.In-depth understanding of government procurement policies and ICT contracting frameworks.Strategic leadership of teams to achieve organisational goals (experience in leading similar functions in a government setting would be an advantage).Excellent communication skills to provide expert advice and build relationships with stakeholders.Experience in adhering to financial regulations and implementing controls to mitigate risk.Joining QRO in a leadership role, you will have responsibility for your teams, collaborate with other leaders to promote a constructive culture and strengthen staff capability and will have opportunities for continued learning, growth and career development.Job Ad Reference: QLD/601954/24Closing Date: Monday, 18 November 2024
