Director, Finance & Corporate Services
to lead critical corporate functions and help shape the future of our business.The Role:Reporting to the CEO, this key executive role oversees finance, procurement, commercial operations, human resources, safety, ICT, and risk management functions.
As 2IC to the CEO, you will drive operational efficiency, governance excellence, and strategic growth, ensuring our systems and processes meet high compliance standards and align with organisational goals.Key Responsibilities:Finance Leadership:
Oversee financial governance, compliance, and statutory obligations.Prepare and present financial reports, statutory accounts and tax submissions to the Board and Senior Management.Lead financial planning and analysis, including cash flow management, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.Drive financial decision-making, including credit assessments and risk management.Corporate Governance & Compliance:
Strengthen governance frameworks and ensure regulatory compliance across finance, HR, WHS, ICT, commercial and legal functions.Liaise with external advisors (auditors, legal counsel) to maintain robust governance standards.Identify and mitigate organisational risks proactively.HR & Safety Leadership:
Responsible for all aspects of the HR and Safety functions including strategy, operations and compliance.Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations and employment law.Foster a culture of safety and wellbeing through proactive training, audits, and risk management initiatives.Operational Excellence:
Oversee procurement, facilities, and equipment management, including leases, insurances, and service contracts, ensuring seamless operations.Lead commercial and contract management, including negotiations, compliance, and performance monitoring.Manage ICT systems and cybersecurity to safeguard against emerging risks.Lead ESG initiatives to enhance sustainability and corporate responsibility.What We're Looking For:
CPA/CA qualified with a degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business.Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) qualifications (desirable).Proven leadership experience in finance and corporate services, ideally within manufacturing, construction, or engineering industries.Expertise in financial planning, risk management, HR, and safety compliance.Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills to engage and inspire teams.Strong organisational and communication capabilities, with experience managing diverse stakeholders.What We Offer:
