Details: Do you want to help influence the way ACT Government engages with the community? We are looking for a strategic engagement thinker who can drive our progressive approach to community engagement.
This position will provide leadership, guidance and advice to teams across the ACTPS on best practice community engagement. This includes identifying opportunities for collaboration on engagement activities, supporting the ACT Government principle of 'One Government, One Voice'.
The role also oversees the ACT Government's engagement framework, the YourSay Conversations platform and arrangements with community-led organisations.
We're looking for someone with a strong engagement background, who can develop and grow great relationships across all areas of the ACT Government and our community.

The role forms part of a wider team supporting both CMTEDD and strategic communications and engagement projects across government.

Eligibility/Other Requirements: Relevant tertiary education qualifications in Communications, Engagement, Public Relations, or a related field is highly desirable. Accreditation under the International Association of Public Participation (IAP2) is highly desirable.
Notes: A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months. Please note, this position will be moving to a new workplace designed for activity-based working (ABW). Under ABW arrangements, officers will not have a designated workstation/desk.
