To lead a team of Employee Relations professionals delivering client-focused Employee Relations services across both specialised and generalist disciplines to Northern Territory Public Sector (NTPS) agencies and employees.Key duties and responsibilities:Work collaboratively with Workforce Services Directors, HR Business Partners, the Senior Director, and executives within the agency to provide expert advice on strategic and operational workforce relations activities.Lead the development and implementation of strategies for continuous monitoring and evaluation of the NTPS's workforce relations activities.Manage a team of Employee Relations specialists delivering client-focused employee relations advice.Prepare reports and recommendations on complex conditions of employment.Ensure workforce services staff are informed of changes to employment legislation and employee relations policy.Participate in divisional programs and prepare high-level briefs and submissions.Selection criteria:Essential:Extensive Employee Relations experience at a senior level.Knowledge of HR disciplines and contemporary trends in Employee Relations and HRM.High-level interpersonal and relationship management skills.Strong oral, written, and reporting skills.Leadership and organisational resource management skills.Strategic and analytical skills.Demonstrated work ethic reflecting DCDD values.Desirable:Relevant tertiary qualifications in employment law or human resources.Understanding of public sector processes and federal employment legislation.Further information:
