Director, Economic and Regulatory Policy
Full-time TemporaryDetails: Do you want to enhance the wellbeing of Canberrans by applying your public policy skills to tackle economic and regulatory policy issues facing the Territory?
The Economic and Regulatory Policy Unit within ACT Treasury is looking for a dynamic and motivated Director to help lead a small team of highly trained economists and policy officers.
As a Director, you will work with the Senior Director to lead and supervise project team members, manage projects and contribute to the wellbeing of Canberrans through your advice and economic assessment. Your economic and policy experience will help make a tangible impact on the development of important government initiatives such as climate change policy, energy reforms, utility pricing, competition, and regulatory policy.

Eligibility/Other requirements: Tertiary or post-graduate qualifications in economics, commerce, or another relevant field, are highly desirable.
Notes: This is a temporary position available from 22 July 2024 to 11 October 2024, with the possibility of extension up to six months. Selection may be based on application and referee reports only. This position is available to ACT Government officers and employees only.
