Director, Digital Solutions
Full-time PermanentDetails: The ACT Courts and Tribunal (ACTCT) supports the proper administration of justice by providing high quality support to judicial officers and tribunal members and high-quality services to those using the courts and tribunal. It provides the Supreme Court, Magistrates Court and ACT Civil and Administrative Tribunal (ACAT) with registry, court support, forensic, corporate and strategic services.
The Corporate Information Systems (CIS) team provides both strategic and operational support and services across ACTCT in the following areas:
Business systemsCyber and information securityData, reporting, and analyticsLibrary and information services.The CIS team also provides strategic support and advice on digital solutions and strategies as well as fact-based insights to support strategic decision-making.
The role of the Director, Digital Solutions is to manage digital technologies and solutions to support and improve ACTCT's business processes and operational interactions, and to lead the planning, design, delivery, and governance of new technologies and solutions for enabling digital transformations and service improvements. This vital role requires an individual that is proactive, driven, purposeful, and with the following skills and experience:
Exceptional problem-solving capabilities, strategic and system way of thinking, demonstrated coordination and organisational skills, excellent writing and presentation skills, and excellent attention to detailsDemonstrated successful and extensive experience in strategic planning, business case development, procurement, project management, change management, and system governanceDemonstrated successful experience in leading, managing, building, and driving multi-discipline teams to deliver impactful business changes to stakeholders' satisfactionDemonstrated ability to speak both business and technical languages and present across organisational levels.This role contributes directly to the ACTCT strategic intents to develop its digital capabilities.
Eligibility/Other requirements: Tertiary qualifications or experience in information technology, business information systems, or a relevant field is desirable.Architect-level experience with enterprise systems and Microsoft Dynamics 365/Power Platform is desirable.To be eligible for permanent or temporary employment within the ACT Public Service you must be an Australian citizen, a permanent resident or hold a valid work visa.If an officer no longer holds a visa that permits them to work in Australia, their employment with the ACT Public Service (ACTPS) will be terminated.The successful candidate will be required to undergo a National Criminal History check.This position does not require a Working with Vulnerable People registration.This position does not require a pre-employment medical.Notes: An order of merit will be established from this selection process and may be used to fill future identical vacancies over the next 12 months.
