Job no: 514312 Work type: Continuing - Full-time Campus: Adelaide Categories: External Engagement, HEO10 HEO10 $136,821 - $145,823 salary per annum plus an employer contribution of 17% superannuation applies.Continuing Full timeThe Division of External Engagement Division supports the growth and success of the University through the development of partnerships and delivery of engagement programs that enhance reputation, grow revenue, and create positive, lasting change in the communities where the University engages.The Director Development and Fundraising works seamlessly across the Advancement team to provide strategic and operational leadership in the delivery of the Planned Giving Program, Trusts and Foundations, the Annual Giving Program and Giving Day as well as the cultivation of prospects to move them from smaller gifts to major gift prospects.The position takes the lead on special projects, including university-wide and faculty campaigns within the annual giving program and is also responsible for engaging with donors and asking for philanthropic gifts.To be successful you will need:Significant strategic experience in Advancement related work, leading demonstrable growth in alumni relations and philanthropic programs.Demonstrated experience in leading a team of professionals, including nurturing and growing team capability, whilst ensuring departmental goals are achieved.Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering Advancement campaigns across alumni relations and development portfolios.Demonstrated commitment to working as part of a successful team, with examples of collaboration and creative problem solving to deliver excellent results.Demonstrated high level negotiation and engagement skills.Enjoy an outstanding career environmentThe University of Adelaide is a uniquely rewarding workplace.
